school
Friday August 14th 2009 school started. It was hard but I love to go to school because it was about time for it but Iam weird like that. The first day was so much fun because see friends that you have not seen for long time. The thing that I dislike about 1st day of school is all the teachers talking about the rules. I like being a Jr in high school because a have a year lift and all the things we can do know. we can go to prom.I ask myself this it feels like the school have more people in it.

SCHOOL OUT!!!!!!!!
Today was the last day of school and we are so glad. I went and had lunch with Karrie and her lunch friends they will all get together for a pool party on Thursday. They just couldn't wait one day before they seen eachother. We made cookies for the party after she got out of school. It has rained all day off and on. We knew it would because the young women left for camp today. Karrie didn't want to go because she would have been a leader and she said she is more of a follower than a leader. It will be a year on Sunday that the flood happen and I think that has a lot to do with it also. I called them today to see about the house and they still don't know when they are going to be able to get in there to see what they can do. I just hope we are in there by the time this next year.

Service Project for Stake and things during the week
This week we had a very hot week it has been in the 80's. I went to the doctor twice this week one for my shoulder that has been popping and on my birthday for the pain in back and leg. Both of them put me on pills that seem to help but make me tried all the time. Our two wards did a service project for our stake. We went to our most cemetery that is used and took pictures of the graves for the site for finf a graveand our local Genealogical Society. We did the first 19 sections on the north end of the cemetery. And it is the older part of the cemetery. There is 91 sections. Then they have other places for people that are sectioned off. Karrie and I worked with a person from other ward and then our ward missionaries help. I wrote down the names she took the pictures and Karrie cleaned off the graves. We did about three rows of names and it took us about two hours then we had to leave. We have graduation open house after church.

lost cell phone
It has been a bad week so far. Karrie lost her cell phone at school this week she doesn't know if she got it stolen or she put it into the trash at lunch when she took her tray back. Then we have to find a new doctor for Donald becase his died last week and a lot of doctor's here will not take his insurance so now we are trying to find him a new one. If this isn't bad enough we got told that we have to be out of our living place by the end of July and they say that it will be atleast six months before the house will be done if then. Yes, I got Karrie a new phone and I told her she better keep this one with her at all times in eye site. I just pray that the rest of the week will be better. So is any one having a better one let me know.

Stake Conference
We had Stake Conference this week-end. Karrie worked Friday night but she had to come home early because she had a headache. She came home took some medicine and she went to bed and slept all day and night. I went to Indianapolis for the adult night of conference I went up early with some friends because the male had to be there for an earlier meeting so his wife and I went into a room and she did work from her Salt Lake job and I read a book. Then after her husband's meeting we went out to eat and to Michael's to look around and I found a lot of things I would like to have to help Karrie learn how to cook and bake better. (So I told her we would have to go up there some week-end for her to look.) Then we went to our night meeting and it was GREAT. Then on Sunday we got to go to Conference here and see a broadcast from Salt Lake which was good. I didn't get much out of it because I was hurting from the night before.

I Hope They Call Me On Mission
I hope they call me on a mission When I have grown a foot or two. I hope by then I will be ready To teach and preach and work as missionaries do.
I hope that I can share the gospel With those who want to know the truth. I want to be a missionary And serve and help the Lord while I am in my youth.
I love this song because it tells our young people that they need to go on missions for the chruch while they are in primary and all through thier growing up.
We had another young man leave today on his mission he went in to the MTC today and he is going to Paraguary Asunsion Mission. He will be speaking Spainish. We will have another young man leaving in June for the Honduras Conayaguela Mission he will also be speaking Spainish.
Hope everyone has a great week-end!

Raining and more rain
It has done nothing but rain for the last for days and I feel like this picture I just want it to stop. I know the saying April showers brings May flowers but do we have to have it all at once? I don't want another flood I don't think we all could take that again and that is always in the back of our minds when it rains like this.

Up's and Down's
This has been a hard week for us. We have all been to the doctor for one reason or another. Mom fell in the yard at the house and she looks like she has been in a fight with all her black and blue marks on her. I have been hurting with all the rain that we have had this week. I hate getting older.karrie got to have a field trip to Ohio to go to Jungle Jim for her Cooking class she loved it she said it was like going to two big Sam's Club. they had food from different places and they got to try them. I can't wait for school to be out so wecan at least sleep in a bit. But that won't happen until the first week in June because they have snow days to make up.

This was no April's fool day for Karrie she went and cut her hair so she could give it Locks of Love she got a bob. It is so cute she looks so grown up now. Scary!!! then sad day on Thursday we watched the last ER show I thought Karrie was going to cry this show has been on her whole life and we have always watched it. So far she has gotten good reports about her hair we will see when we got to chuch next week because a lot of people have said to me don't let her cut her hair because it is so long and they like her like that. But I told her it is her hair and if she wants to cut it she should.

The other math and don't know why when I sub the High School latley it has been math. Karrie is working and saving her money for Youth Conference they are going to New York this year and this will be her first time there I'm happy she gets to go we first thought she wasn't going to get to go because of summer school but she doesn't have to do summer school now just the two weeks before school starts.
