I hope we all can remember what this day is all about.
I know it has been along time since we have been on but a lot of things have been going on. Like a lot of us are doing now that school is out and our children are home. I have been trying to keep karrie busy on the days that she doesn't work. We took Mom to the doctor the other day for her falling and they had a MRI taken on her brain and it showed the she has some spots so tomorrow we are going to see a head doctor and see what they think they are. Karrie is getting happy about her trip she will be going on the 8th until the 10th. I am going back to the pain doctor on the 28th for another treatment to see if this will help with the pain. I am taking Donald back to the doctor on the 14th so they can check him out then he will go to the same head doctor on the 21st. So has you can see it will be a very busy month if you look at my calendar about every day I have something going on. I hope everyone will go and do something fun on this day that will help us to remember what this day is all about. Just addition to the July 1st. We took Mom to the doctor and the said she was just fine that the spots on her brain is do to age that the would be worried if she didn't have any that as we age our brain gets smaller. He is getting a utasound of your neck to see if everything is fine there. After Karrie got off work on on the 3rd her and I went and seen the fireworks at the airport by the College here. It took us an hour to get home when we only live about a minute away. The music was my favorite because there were country music that I like. Today is the fourth and we are all home just taking it easy and later we are going to have a cookout if it quites raining. They had a thing on the radio about today and what the flag means and it makes me think of The Star-Spangled Banner the first verse says:
Oh, say can you see, by the dawn's early light. What so proudly we hailed at the twilingt's last gleaming. Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight. O'ver the ramparts we watch, were so gallantly streaming? And the rockets red glare, the bombs brusting in air. Gave proof thru the night that our flag was still there.
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave. O'ver the land of the free and the home of the brave?
It makes me proud that I live in this free country and that I can do and see anything I want. I am thankful for the men and women past, present, and furture that are and will fight for our freedom.
